“Be Good to All Living Things.”
We provide a natural water option in a sustainable package so consumers can focus on, enjoy, and maintain the beauty of nature while staying hydrated on the go.

Project Overview: In New Media Design class, we were assigned to create a style guide that was centered around a brand of our own making. We curated Earthly Elixir, which is a natural water option in a sustainable package so consumers can focus on, enjoy, and maintain the beauty of nature while staying hydrated on the go.
The Problem:
One of the most difficult parts of the project was handing off the part of the project I felt most confident in completing, which was the Typography section. I felt very confident when I need to communicate a brand's vision to an audience to sell a service or product. More in detail, I realized that this was a personal issue that I needed to overcome and test waters outside of my comfort level!
The Solution:
This opportunity seemed to excite another group member so I let them have that opportunity to explore her interests and I saw this as an opportunity to challenge myself to get creative with something I was not as comfortable completing. I worked on creating high-quality products that fit our brand. What we came up with, was merchandise that was centered around nature, the promotion of physical activity, and wellness. Some of the products that we mocked up were clothing (i.e. outerwear, hats, shirts) and other merchandise like mugs and water bottles with the focus on our logo.
Results:
What we created is far more than the simple idea that we started with at the very beginning of the project. I feel much more comfortable with brand identity and I am glad that I used this as an opportunity to challenge myself versus taking part in a something that was in my comfort zone. I learned more in detail about the brand, specifically the logo usage and how important the difference of pictorial, word mark, and combo is when designing and identifying a brand.
